I have been reading you will be able to go from one version of Vista without
having to buy an actual disc, just by upgrading by paying at the MS
website. Will it be possible to go from business to Home Premium? I am
getting business but want the media features of home premium.

The only upgrade option from Windows Vista Business is
Windows Vista Ultimate.

Here's the complete paragraph from Microsoft:

The manufacturer's suggested retail prices to upgrade to more premium
editions of Windows Vista are as follows: Home Basic to Home Premium $79,
Home Basic to Ultimate $199, Home Premium to Ultimate $159 and Business to
Ultimate $139. Windows Anytime Upgrade will coincide with the general
availability of Windows Vista in the United States, Canada, Europe and Japan
on Jan. 30, and after launch customers can find additional information at
http://www.windowsanytimeupgrade.com . ''

Hi,

Vista Business will only upgrade to Ultimate. If you wish to use Home
Premium, you will need a full version and to do a clean install.

Yes you can install any version of windows from your disk its just that
since you want home premium and you have business you need to purchase a
home premium full edition key and then yes you can use your disk that you
have

$139 for upgrade from business to ultimate, not too bad.Now the question is -
is this possible without buying a disk? I mean do i go to MS website, pay
them, get a new key and unlock ultimate from the business DVD?I assume all
the versions are on each DVD with the key unlocking them just being
different?

All versions of windows are on the same disk so you can re install it with
that same disk you have without obtaining another one for the ultimate. Its
just that 32 bit and 64 bit are on different disks.
