During the initial installation of SBS 2003 I inadvertently misspelt the
organisation name and need to rectify this. It not only appears on internal
website but externally as well.

Try as I may I can't find a way of doing this (now into day 2!) and would
appreciate any ideas.

Thanks in anticipation

Tony

Hello Tony,

Thanks for your post and Merv's input.

In addition, you may need to change the following info:

1. Company registration information.
2. Company name in Remote Web Workplace page.
3. Company name in Performance/usage reporting page.
4. Site name of the Companyweb site.
5. Performance alert e-mail address.
6. Web server certificate.
7. E-mail suffix.

Here are some additional information just for your reference:

1. Open regedit, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion Change the name of 'RegisteredOrganization'. After doing this,
the company name and company name in server performance/usage reports will be changed, the RWW site will be changed. You may also modify the values such as
Address1, Address2, Phone, Fax etc with the new information.

Note: Only names of 50 characters or less are supported.

2. Logon the site <http://companyweb> with the administrator's privilege. Click 'Site Settings' and then click 'Change site title and description'. Input the new company name in
'Title' box.

3. Change the sender's 'Display name' for the Alert e-mail:

a. Open up 'Health Monitor' from 'Administrative Tools'.
b. In the left pane, expand 'All Monitored Computers' -> 'Server name' -> Actions, and then right click 'Email <private.php?do=newpm&u=>' to choose
Properties.
c. Switch to the 'Details' tab and then change the data in the 'From' data.
d. For example, you may want to change the value data from "Old Company" <private.php?do=newpm&u=> To "New
Company"
<private.php?do=newpm&u=>.

4. Open Server Management console, navigate to 'Internet and E-mail' snap-in. Click 'Connect to the internet'. Rerun the wizard. In the web site certificate configuration
section, input the new FQDN as the certificate name.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,
