While installing SP2 a couple of weeks ago my Toshiba Laptop "froze up
tighter than a well diggers ass". I left it alone for about 2 hours before
unplugging it. When I rebooted i got an error message saying that it was only
partially installed and Windows was left in a unstable state, and I should
un-install SP2. When I went to the un-install SP2 the message that basically
nothing on my system would work, I elected not to un-install. A couple of
days later i did "restore " my system to pre-SP2. There arent many glarring
errors but It locks up all the time with Movie maker 2, and pinnacle 9,
Photoshop CS is corrupted. My hard drive is Incredibly fragmented, (I run
Diskkeeper 8 reguraly) if i go to the update page I get the "searching for
current software " then it hangs. SP2 installed without a hitch on my desktop
cpu. Which i have had numerous problems with since I built it in March. Now
it works like the Bad ass machine it was meant to be. How do I install SP2 on
my Toshiba Laptop? (model p15-S409)
