      09-29-2009

I hope this is in the right section, my C drive went form 125gb free t
completely full in about an hour. I did all the usual malware and viru
scans nothing shows up. Where do I start? Vista premium home edition

thanks for the reply , i cant see any options to change the restor
settings other than the preset restore points, i did one of those i
only goes back 12 hours but the c drive is still full. thank

Sorry Im not sure what to do at this point. Will that free the 100gb o
c drive that was lost in a hour? Thanks for all the help

No. It only shows you how much space is being used by System Restore s
that you can reduce it if you wanted to. For example, change the ma
size of 34GB to something like 10GB instead to free up 24GB of allocate
space

You might also run '*_Disk_Cleanup_*
(http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/76...k-cleanup.html) to see ho
much junk it can find and clear off your hard drive to save some space

Thanks for all the help. I finally found a 100gb error log in one of m
trading platforms. Deleted that one file and back to normal

Shut down all programs then Start-Computer-right click c
drive-properties-disk cleanup
