When i try and install KB917344 and .Net framework service pack 1 i get an
error message

Microsoft Visual c++ runtime library

Run time Error!

Program C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp\sl42.tmp

I've installing the updates manually and deleting the contents of the temp
folder but still get the same problem.

Any ideas??

Thanks

Has this Issue been solved yet? I'm having the same issue. .Net 1.1 framework
installs fine, but when I try installing SP1 it comes back with the same
error, except the tmp file is SL209.tmp.
