c:\ not accessible...access denied

actually i am having a problem in vista home premium..

whenever i click on c drive to open it generates following error

error: c:\ is not accessible
access denied..
side by side i am also getting a error as; "Microsoft Feed
Synchronization has stopped working"

I am the only user of my Inspiron 1525 notebook,
actually i was trying to install oracle 10 g and in while doing that in
the path option i gave a direct location c:\
now i know this was a blunder and actually this thing is causing the
error.

For now i hv disabled UAC and its working fine but i cant keep UAC
off...isnt it???
so please tell me what to do....please do reply....

Uninstall Oracle and reinstall it in C:\Program Files instead of at the root
of C:. Turn UAC back on.
