C0150004 error causes my pc not to download windows updates..

hi..i 'm using windows vista home premium..but i cant get vista updates since
it gives error #c0150004... i tried a web search and i can say that there is
no solution other than formatting hdd and reinstalling vista...but i dont
want to reinstall vista..what should i do to get rid of this problem?
