Calendar - Default Calendar Unchangeable

Is there a way one can select a Default Calendar without deleting them all
and starting from scratch?

We started using the Calendar via Windows Live, and utilized several
calendars for differentiation:

Our Calendar (created for stuff my wife and I both do)
EarthLight (created for stuff I do for my business and art efforts)
Cancelled (created for items cancelled that one wants to keep track of
anyway)
Birthdays (I suspect this gets imported from Windows Live contacts only)
UK Holidays (imported while under WL Calendar pre-WLMail)
US Holidays (imported while under WL Calendar pre-WLMail)
Gittisham (experimental for the moment, created for village events)

The problem is, after I deleted another calendar we didn't want to be a
default, Gittisham calendar has somehow been assigned as the default
calendar, and I cannot re-assign a default. I cannot delete it, as I'm told
by the error message, one cannot delete the default calendar.

This cannot be selected via Options, either; Options are the same as found
for Live Mail. Other than deleting all my calendars and starting all over
again - which would also lose track of all past events etc - is there a
solution to this?

Thx.
