Calendar: Vista Home Premium to XP Home SP2

Published my Vista calendar to a iCalendar type file that shows up on an XP
machine.

When opening the iCalendar file in XP machine, file is opened by a MS Works
calendar, which says it can not open file nor access the adjustments I have
made to reflect that which is in effect my calendar.

Nothing shows but a blank calendar.

Is there a download or adjustment to allow this calendar to be viewed
accurately from the Vista calendar file on the XP machine?

Thanks in advance,
Robert
