Call Computer Connection Problems

I'm having a problem initiating a 'Computer to Computer' call in Live
Messenger 8.0.

When I call the contact's computer, and they accept the incoming call
request, I get the "Connecting..." status message. After around 30 seconds
or so, the message panel report "Call Ended".

I have enabled enabled UPNP on my ADSL router but has made no difference.
Any advice would be welcome.

I have exactly the same problem ... windows Live Messenger 8.0.0812..... i
also cant send audio or receive audio .. nobody can see the request to
connect....

What do you and your contact show in Tools-Options->Connection->Connection
Status? It should say "UPnP Port-Restricted NAT" or something very similar.
