Hi there

Briefly my problems are:

1)Java icon appear from time to time in system stray. In program & feature
window there are 2 Java icon. First one is originally preinstalled and
another is java update 11. Update done regular. Isn't it suppose to be only 1
java icon?

2)Adobe 8 preinstalled and with flash player 9. Tried to watch sports video
from espn but prompted me to download flash player 10. Download incomplete
cos always hang.

3)Computer suddenly became slow opening webpages a day ago. Just did a disk
defrag, clear history files and I am using kaspersky anti-virus but speed
still slow.

Woud be grateful for all your advice and help.

Thank you.

Greetings,

The Java icon will appear anytime Java needs to load, that's pretty normal. It should
disappear and unload itself when the application that's called it has completed (like your
web browser for instance).

Adobe has a Flash player uninstall program, you might find that helpful:

For the latter questions though, it's very difficult to really diagnose any such problems
here on the newsgroup. You may want to seek local assistance.
