How can I delete a file which has been downloaded by W Update?

I downloaded the most recent .net service pack. After the
download my system started to install the service pack but
would just hang. If I try to run the updater again the
system sees that the files has already been downloaded.
How can I delete the file on my system so the updater will
re-download the file? My assumption is that something
happened with the file to corrupt it. I let the system run
overnight for the install and no progress was made.

Hi

Clean out this folder (WU5's temporary download folder) to get rid
of the temporary installation files:

%windir%\SoftwareDistribution\Download\

(%windir% is typically C:\Windows)
