can I do a remoat desktiop login from vista to win 2003 server?

Hi,
I have a computer running win 2003 server and a portable running
vista. Could I control my 2003 server from my vista portable?

You should be able to. What you can't do is remote into your Vista if it is
Home Premium or less.

All versions of vista have the remote desktop client

XP does too

and you can even install it on win98 or Me, or even linux has its own RDP
client

It should... try it. Go into "System" on the server and enable remote
desktop.
I can connect to and control my Windows Home Server, which is based on
Server 2003.
