can i download othervfiles from other players onto it

i have a media player classic homecinema and would like to burn some of the
files to cd/dvd.but cannot(no burn tool) so can i send the files to my
windows media player 11 so i can do this (burn the files down)i

Potentially, depending upon the file type and whether that file type is
