Where can I find the "update log" file ?

Please tell me where to find the "update log" file under Win98SE ?

I am trying to find out why the critical update files I've downloaded
couldn't be installed, and according to the info I've gleaned from the
Net, they all talk of the "log file" but on my system, there's no
winupdate.log thing at all.

Please help !!

Open Internet Explorer and either type or copy and then paste this into the
Address bar:
%windir%\windows update.log


Scroll down towards the bottom for the latest entries to locate the error
code(s) associated with the latest failed attempt to download. Now look on the
Troubleshooter page for the error code(s) that you have located and try the
suggested solution.
