can forced restart be disabled?

HI ya'all

We are rolling out WSUS 3 and in our test group we have users getting a five
minute warning that their PC will restart, and the "restart later" button is
grayed out. In the same update other users do have a usable "restart later"
button.

I think this is related to some users being "restricted users" and others
being local admins.

Is there a way to enable this permision globally so restricted users can
"restart later" ?

One poor user was scared to death by this 5 minute countdown.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

If you want to give non-local admin the privilege to "Restart Later" option,
you have to enable "Allow non-administrators to receive update notifications"
setting from Group Policy or Registry for that matter.
