Where can I go to check my Compressed files from deleted files?

Ive been looking around for my compressed files but have been unsuccessful,
in xp you can find it in the clean disk option, as a box to check. I was
wondering if it dumps every time with disk clean up or not? And if it doesn't
where can I find the folder at?
