How can I increase the font size in Vista's Explorer (Not IE)

How can I increase the size of the font used in Explorer's folder pane
(Treeview) and the file detail pane (Listview)?

I don't want to change desktop icon fonts or Internet Explorer fonts
or . . . Just "File" Explorer fonts.

At the top Tool / Menu Bar of IE go to > Tools > Internet Options >Fonts
or right click at the top Menu Bar > Customize Command Bar > Add or Remove
Command.

Thank you Jdr but if you look at my subject and re-read my post you
will see that I asked about Explorer, not Internet Explorer.

you can change the DPI settings of all the interface of vista, universally
and not a specific area

HOWEVER there are other file managers that can be configured to do that..
like xyplorer (shareware)

In XYplorer simply hold CTRL and turn the mouse wheel up/down to
increase/decrease the font size on the fly. Instant zoom!

Under the Aero them you can't really as far as I know. Other than changing
from 96 to 120 dpi that is. You CAN do it if you use the Windows Classic
theme. That is done just like you did it under XP etc.

Because in vista they totally destroyed WINDOWS EXPLORER user interface..

the only good thing about it is that it shows better thumbails.. thats it..

Very nice. Thanks for remembering about the freeware version.

I thaought (very breifly) about writing my own version with resizeable
fonts. It would take less than an hour but duplicating, even the
freeware version, of XYplorer would probably take me a year.

Changing the icon text size will also change the text size in Explorer
(not IE). I personally prefer just to make the text in explorer bold.

Right click desktop>Personalise>Window Color & Appearance>open Classic
Appearance>Advanced>scroll down on Item and select Icon. Here u can
change the font size from default 9, and/or select bold Click. OK and
Apply.
