I bought a laptop with Vista on it. I wanted XP but that would have
cost another $280.00 or so. I'm having a problem. I have visual acuity
problems and the characters on most things look dim and gray on a white
background. I'm sure this is a Microsoft setting and I've never seen
such a thing before on any previous version of Windows (nor any other
operating system). Applications I run
don't look like that. Characters in word
perfect, for example, look fine. So it has to be a Vista-specific,
Microsoft-intended feature. I can't find any way to change this
setting. Nor can I find a way to make the fonts that display on the
desktop and such bigger.
Where do I go to fix this? Or in fact, can I make Vista look more like
XP? Thanks.
