When I click on "File" or "View", etc., and get thedrop down selections,
They areso washed out with very faint linesdividing the,m. It's a strain on
the eyes. Can I make Vista more like XP for these features so they are
distinguishable. Same issuewith button popups, vey faint letters. XP uses
reverse coloring in the selection boxes as you run the cursaor over them.
I'd like it to do that please?

you can turn on the CLASSIC theme, if you find that too boring tell me and
ill tell you another solution that is more complex though
that lets you install other themes even ones like XP LUNA (the default
blue -silver- green theme of XP)

to turn on classic, right click on desktop, personalize, THEME and select
classic

I know about classic, can you tell me how to keep Aero yet change the
drop-downs? You can also tell me how to use XP themes if all else fails.

Try this:right click on your desktop. Click personalize, then click windows
color & appearance, then click open classic appearance properties for more
color options
Next click the advanced button, then click on the drop down box select menu.
In the menu box choose the font, the size & make it bold. I have mine set to
segoe ui,11,Bold. then click OK then apply & ok & you are done.
My old eyes like that !

Hello I was about to tell you about a FREE application that give you themes,
but I saw its not compatible yet with Service pack 1 for vista that will be
out very soon so I dont think its a good idea.. perhaps when Vistaglazz gets
an update to version 2.0 this will be fixed..

so for the current time there is only a shareware that after 1 month trial
you have to pay 20 dollars to use it...

http://www.stardock.com/products/windowblinds/

Stardock is a microsoft partner so its garanteed to work 100%

after you ge that (if you decide to download the trial) you can chose from
hundreds of themes here

http://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?libid=1

here is a theme that looks much like the windows XP luna blue one
http://www.wincustomize.com/skins.as...d=4778&libid=1
