How can I make items view in order received?

      10-20-2008

Sorry new at this. I have vista home premium. Is there anyway to
make/keep items like sigtags, photos, etc. be in order of when saved to
your computer.
With xp I kept them saved as modified so could just scroll down to last
thing and know it was the last I saved.
Right now when I save stuff it is not in any order. Hope this makes
sense. I just like a lil order lol.

If the "Date modified" field doesn't appear above the list of files,
right-click one of the column headers and put a check mark next to
"Date modified". Then, click the "Date modified" column header. If
that sorts the items with the newest at the bottom, click the "Date
modified" column header again.
