How can I make Mobile device notify you of new mail

In folders OTHER than the Inbox.

I've verified that Server ActiveSync is sending an SMS message and the
device is synchronizing with my Exchange server when messages arrive in
folders other than my Inbox, but I do not get notified by my device that
there are new messages. It seems that Pocket Outlook only notifies you
(sound, vibrate or both) for new messages in the Inbox. Is this controlled
in the device registry anywhere? Most of my important messages do not go to
my Inbox. Anyone know if this is a limitation of Pocket Outlook or if it
can be changed anywhere?

I'm using an I-mate Jasjar running Windows Mobile 5.0.

Hi,
This is a limitation in Messaging (formerly Pocket Inbox). I do not know of
a fix or workaround to allow you to be notified each time a new message
arrives in a selected set of folders or all folders.

Ok. Advantage is still to RIM in this vector then, unfortunately. I can't
see where I would be alone in organizing my Inbox by moving most messages to
other folders via rules. Thanks for the reply.

On another thought, why couldn't you setup a server rule that sends an SMS
message telling you the subject?

This would be outside of the Windows Mobile 5.0 sync side but it would keep
you informed.
