The regular updates (if there are any) arrive on the second Tuesday of every
month. However, one of the 'update' settings is 'Notify me but don't
download updates'. When the updates are ready for downloadinh an icon appears
in the system tray, so you can click it when it is convenient to you.

General lot scheduled for 2nd Tuesday monthly; exceptions exist.

Best bet is to set auto to notify but don't download or install.
