Can no longer access secure pages after updates

My brother installed all of the new 9 updates today on the
windows update page, and can no longer access any secure web
sites, like banks, ordering supplies etc. I've seen a lot of
problems discussed here regarding the updates, but not this one.
Anyone heard of this? Any idea which one it might have been? Can
he uninstall all of them?

Another thing you can try is:
Go to start/run
Type in: regsvr32 softpub.dll
Press Enter or click OK
