Just installed it (Build 5384). Upgrade from xp pro sp2. Seemed to install
great, although it took 3 days (kidding). Upon boot it brings me to the user
select screen. I select my username and it goes through the following steps:

1)logging on
2)preparing your desktop
3)closing your desktop
4)logging off

Then, it brings me right back to the login screen. I've tried going to safe
mode, but to no avail. Anyone help? Thanks.

Hi, try to login in safe mode as administrator and create a new user
account, reboot and check if you can login with this new user

Thanks for the input. It does the same thing when I try to login as
Administrator under safe mode.

Hi, I have the same issue. It started after i resized the Vista partition.
After searching it appears I am not the only one with this problem. Any help?

Cheers.

I have not had that one but the Vista upgrade option is very problematic.
Right now, I cannot drag files from one drive to another anymore. Not sure
what happened but it no longer works.
