Can Not delete item from External drive

I'm have a problem deleting a folder from my external hard drive.

It has 2 subforums, and in the last one is an .avi file

Whenever I try to delete it I ge

"Could not find this item... This is no longer located in ----
Verify the item's location and try again.

I've tried Taking Ownership and command prompts, as well as Unlocker
Check disk doesn't help either

I thought finding the 8.3 name would be the key, but when I try to fin
it out in the Command Prompt it's just blank. I've tested it with othe
files and have gotten the 8.3 name, but the files for the items I wan
to delete don't seem to have one

Anyone have any ideas

Try the Shred Files option in (freeware) FileMenuTools.
