I can not down load pictures or other files

When I click on the run or save window it acts like it is downloading then it
just disapears and doesn't finish downloading..

I had the same problem and could not fix it. The problem is with the
Internet Explorer browser. I switched to another browser like Opera or
Firefox.

As far as you chose `Run/Open from the current location`,you cannot specify
the temporary location to transfer the file to.And the download window will
disappear on it's own after the file has been transferred to a temporary
location.
However,if you chose `Save`,please specify whether or not any dialog box
opened to specify the destination location of the file to be saved (and if
so,the path which you specified).How soon is the down-load process aborted
in this case?
Does this happen while transferring files from any specific web-site or with
any specific file-format/extension type?
Assuming that IE is being used,try downloading the file without running any
add-ons.
