Can not generate reports properly

Hi,
We are generating the reports using MS Excel, and MS word. After installing
the patches (KB943985,KB947355) on my client PC's. The reports are missing
the some of the information and reports generates with 52 pages with
repeating infomation(normally 7 pages only).

I tried by uninstalling these patches and generating the reports fine.

Can any one give us the solution.

We are having a similar problem. We export reports to MS Excel 2003 from our
ERP system. They are formatted as tab delimited files. After installing
KB943985, the formatting and information are completely garbled. I
uninstalled this patch and it works fine. I tried installing the new v2 of
this patch, but this problem is still occurring. I'm looking for a solution
too ...

Hi
we are also facing a similar situation.
We are using Apache POI to generate excel files. The export had been working
fine. However, with installation of KB943985, the excel reports the following
error message-
'Damage to the filw was so extensive that repairs were not possible. Excel
attempted to recover your formulas and values, but some data may have been
lost or corrupted'
The excel file was then shown as a raw file with just the data and no
formatting.

Could you please let me know the API you people have used for the purpose? Is
it apache poi?
