can not install net framework

Hi,
Im running Windows ME and had to do a recover last week. Since then I cannot
install my printer/scanner because the net rramework is not installed. I have
tried everything to install it and I just cant. I've installed everything I
need to on the windows update except for the framework. The error I keep
getting is 1935 with a large amount of numbers ending with HRESULT
2147319761. I have researched the newsgroups but haven't found anything that
works. My system doesnt say that any other type of framework is installed so
I cannot uninstall anything. I have downloaded the redist. file as well and
this still does not help. Please help if you can this is driving me crazy.

Yay! Finally... just deleted file Mscoree.dll and it installed fine after
that.

I need your help, PLEASE,
I have the same exact problem; I am using winME, had to do system recovery
and updated everything at (MS windows update). I get error code 1935 (same
HRESULT) on dotnet install.
Question is; how do I find the (MSCOREE.dll) file, is this a cridical file,
is your system still stable after deleating this file, and how do i safely
deleate it ???
