can not install sp2

can not install net framework 1.1 from updates...
can not install sp2 without it...what can i do?

Not really sure..error messages are helpful, event logs info would help.
I don't have .net framework, but have Sp2.

Posting details about exact error messages can help.
There are no updated that need to be installed prior to installing SP-2 if
the Network Installation is used.
