Can not install SP3 missing file

..When trying to install SP3 and some other programs I get a windows installer
message (The feature you are trying to use is on a network resouce that is
unavilable)
Also tells me to find an alternate path to folder containing installation
package 'MAINSP3op.msp' in box below The souce is
(C:\DOCUME~1\XXXXX\LOCALS~1\Temp\IXP000.TMP\) Which also seems to be missing.
Can anyone HELP please
