can not setup automatic logon

I try to set up automatic logon in Vista as follow
1. Click on Vista Orb Start button.

2. Type netplwiz into the Instant Search box, and press Enter.

3. If User Access Control window pops up to ask for permission, click "Continue".

4. At the User Accounts window, uncheck and clear the "Users must enter a username and password to use this computer." option, and click OK.

After this It is suppose to prompt the user name and password window to enter. However, there is nothing happen. I restart the computer and the login windows appears at start?
Does anyone have any idea?

Does the user account you are intending to use have a password? It needs to
for this to work.
