can' play PDFs

I'm using Windows 2000 and Windows Media Player 9... I downloaded a PDF
file but an error message appeared:cannot playback the file...the format is
not supported Error=80040265 what do I need to do to run PDF files thanks

PDF is an Adobe created text file. It's not a music or video file. This
your first computer? Are you over 3 y/o? Are you familiar with Google?

Not even close. You need a PDF reader. Either will work. I prefer Foxit.
