We just got a new computer with Windows Vista. However, my only version of
Quark (Quark 4.0) doesn't seem to be able to run on it. Any advice? And
please don't tell me to invest in the latest version Quark.

Open the Help and Support app, and type: Compatibility Mode

How about going to the Quark web site, they have a "click here for LIVE
support" at the bottom of the page. They also have forums.

Google is your friend

I'm afraid you're out of luck. Quark 4.0 is over ten years old, and cannot
be made to run on Vista. You'll either have to upgrade to a later version
that does, or install Win2000 or XP within VirtualPC, which is a free
download from Microsoft.
