Hi Jacob,

You will have to call Microsoft (MS) and use the phone activation.
This will show you how to do it and get the phone number for MS.

If it is a legal version of Vista and is not a copy then call MS phone Activation

If your copy or media is illegal then you are out of luck. You will need to purchase a valid Vista license

The first thing to do is be sure you typed it properly. The second thing to
do is proceed with telephone activation when it's offered.
