How can I reinstall the Messenger?

How can I reinstall the Messenger?
The Messenger stopped running after SP3 installation. There is Messenger
line in the StartUp. When I try to run C: \ Program Files \ Windows Live \
Messenger \ msnmsgr.exe, nothing happen. Version of the file msnmsgr.exe -
14.0.8064.206.

Run ZapMessenger:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/redir/zapmessenger.asp

Then go ahead and reinstall Messenger from http://download.live.com.
