Can I Remove Failed install upadates from Update History?

I had failed update installs, about 15 all for the same update, I got the
problem solved and the update installed. Now i would like all the failed
installs to be removed from the update history. Is there a file or registry
entrys that can be edited to remove only the failed updates? They are they
only failed updates on the whole history that is why i wish to have them
removed.

That is the history only and the specific entries have no effect on
operations.
I am sure there must be a way but I do not know of it.
I do not worry about it since I want my history to be accurate.
