How can I simultaneously connect multiple devices?

I'm running some test applications that use 169.254.2.1 to remote-control a
WM6 device. With one device, things work great - my actual tests communicate
over WIFI and the 169 network is an isolated backchannel for control.

I use explorer to copy test files to the mini-SD card on the device and run
everything from there.

However, when I plug in a second device, Vista doesn't see it. How can I
connect 2 or more devices to my laptop so I can remote control a hubful of
pocketPC devices? I'm okay with using static addresses for everything,
hacking the registry, etc.

Any other suggestions for how to make this work?

Hi,
ActiveSync and WMDC are not setup to allow more than one device to connect
at a time. This is because the IP address is assigned by the Windows Mobile
device and cannot be changed.

You need to use another method such as FTP or HTTP to allow multiple devices
to connect to a server.
