Both Notepad and WordPad are pretty basic so don't come with spell checkers;
however, that doesn't mean to say that you can't obtain an office
application that does have a spell checker and is also free. I would suggest
you try OpenOffice (
www.openoffice.org) You'll have far more scope with
OpenOffice and, as I've said, it is free, so why not take advantage of it!
