A quick solutionis to temorarily stop the Background Intelligent Transfer
Service(Bits) service. However the download in question will still be stored
in BITS queue and the download will resume the next time the service is
started. You will need the BITSadmin commandline tool from the 2003 Admin
tool kit to purge this download from BITS queue.
The other option is to stop the service until after hours and then start it
so the download can complete after hours.
