Can`t burn dvds with nero or imgburner

hi
when i start to burn dvd it got stuck on 1% and says power calibration
error i can burn cds but not dvds before vista i got xp and worked fine
but now cant burn dvds.help
i got the same problem in vista home premium 32 bit now i am using
vista ultimate x64.

Might be worth a try to use a slower write speed.

Over the last 10 years every time I encountered a Power Calibration Error I
had a fried burner.

I've made about 100 copies - umm, backups - of my copyrighted movies
without a problem ;->

with Vista? I thought the DRM was supposed to prevent that..
