CAN,T DOWNLOAD ATTACHMENTS

okay here goes, i get a email with attachment i hit download and a white
screen comes up with notepad on it. need help and hotmail has no clue why.

We need more info, what email program, what security
settings in Windows, any 3rd party security?

About a month ago msn changed their page up then all of a sudden when I got
an attachment and I click on the attch and then I hit download and then open
and then in a flash this screen comes up and at the top it has message 3 (1)
notepad and thats it. I am on med security and have written hotmail
manyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy times and they say others are having
trouble also and will soon fix the problem, well helloooooooooooo when. I am
no computer nerd and just want my attahments fixed.
