Can´t get into C:\Documents and Settings - even thoug I´m the admin.??

I gave up trying it shows on my machine as a shortcut, and if I clcik
on the shortcut it says c:\documents and settings is not accessible
acces is denied. I can try this from my account, from my account as
administrator and logged in as administrator. It is my one and only
gripe at Vista.

Tank God I´m not alone!
Yep, same error message as Bill Lord:
"c:\documents and settings is not accessible
acces is denied."
And the Document and Settings folder is marked as a shortcut too.

What to do??

Definitely not alone, it has bugged me for a while but I have never
needed to do anything so I left it. Tonight I did a google search and
came up with about 23500 queries and responses. This one was the

The shortcut I refered to is C:\Documents and Settings, root dir.
Not that I want to make a shortc. of Document and Settings; Vista is "born"
with the shortcut - my, and others, trouble, is taht we can´t get acces to
Documents and Settings.
