I can`t open live messenger, an error message appears

The following error message appears when I try to open Live Messenger

" Runtim Error!
Program: C:\Programfiler\MSN Messenger\msnmsgr.exe

R6025
- pure virtual function call"

I have removed Live messenger and installed it again, but the same message
appears. I have also tried to install MSN messenger 7.0 but the same thing
happens.
Someone who knows what I can do to fix it?
