can´t signon in msn 6

i had the same problem and had to format my hd.... now a
friend of mine has the same problem and we're triyng to
understand what stupid problem is after this issue

anyone has ideas?

i'm having the same problem, too. i even went back to two
previous versions of messenger and installed them. but
when it tries to sign on I get the same error as before.
running xp pro, too. let me know if you get any answers.

I contacted support a Microsoft and he said that no changes was been made
since MSN 5 regarding the signin process. We have a firewall and MSN 5 works
fine, not MSN 6
