Who can tell me after how long I register the URL I've deleted?

Actually at the very beginning I just want to change the email address
assoicaited with my Live Space, because I changed my major mail address.
Unfortunately I haven't found how, so I have to delete the previous Space as
I want to use the same URL. However, after I deleted my space, I still can't
register it with my new hotmail ID. I mean when I type the exact same URL,
system always tells me it's used by others. But I know it's me and I've
already deleted that space.

Anyone can tell me after how long I could use the URL?

60 days, oh god...

why I have to wait for such a long time...

and do you know whehter I can change the associated hotmail address in Live
Space?
