Have you tried the newest driver from Creative on their website from 1/12
and see if you can write over the one you have that is corrupt. Have you
tried to uninstall the drivers from Device Manager (also delete checked).
With Dell, they have a record of putting hooks in the drivers they provide
so it may not work, but worth a try.
