How can I uninstall program?

Here is the blue message screen I get:

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage
to you computer

Disable or uninstall any anti-virus, disk defragmentation , or backup
utilities. Check your hard drive configuration and check for any updated
drivers. Run CHKDSK/F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart
your computer.


My question is: if windows will not start, how can I follow the prompts?

Try restarting in Safe Mode.

Not related to the Windows Media Center application, but as suggested try
booting to safe mode, for more assistance I'd suggest reposting to a more
appropriate group such as the general group of what ever version of Windows
your using.
