Who is the "your" in your, "... And your recent upgrade ..." statement? You
realize this is a peer-to-peer newsgroup...?
As long as you have a valid license for Windows XP that can be used on the
system in question and the hardware manufacturer (for every component
currently installed/connected) for the system is providing drivers for
WIndows XP - you can format and install Windows XP. I would contact the
vendor that sold you the computer for options.
