Can Update cause Printer not to work?

I'm using XP SP3 and a Samsung ML-2850 printer. I updated my computer recently. The
printer won't work. I won't receive any data from the computer. Is it possible that any
of the updates interfered with the printer? These are the updates I installed:

That's like a needle in the haystack.

Better off downloading the latest drivers, remove the old one and install
the new one. Can also try another USB port to see if the printer is detected.
